These 'Songs for Seniors' were born some years ago when my friend Maria Rogers was telling me about her exercise class. She said that they played rock music in that class, while all the attendees were senior citizens and rock is not their music. So the mental sparks started flying, and before we finished that conversation, I think we had the seeds of about three songs. My friend Maria did the words, and I did the music. The rest of the songs followed fairly quickly, til we had 16 songs and decided that was enough. It was a very fun project... a lot of laughs along the way as we developed it. They are written for active seniors.
