The three spirituals in the collection are 'Ev'ry Time I Feel the Spirit', 'Deep River', and 'He's Got the Whole World in His Hands'. It is arranged so that all 5 pianos keep pretty busy. There is a definite jazz feel in the first and last, and 'Deep River'. as the middle one,  is slower and more mellow - providing contrast to the energy of the other two.
